The topic of this timeline is Woman’s Voting Rights during the American Revolution. I selected a multitude of a events including the first time a women (Lydia Taft) voted in american history, the multiple elections that occurred in New Jersey for women, and other important events during the American Revolution in relation to women’s voting rights. These were events I chose because I felt like they properly represented the chronological order in which things happened for women and their right to vote, my events included both the begging of them being able to vote and the end. By the end of this timeline the readers biggest takeaway should be that Women spent many time with their rights at the mercy of men and the government. This timeline will give them an accurate representation of women’s voting rights.
